The Sound of Glass by Karen White

A terrific novel that covers the lives of three different women. Merritt Heywood inherits her dead husband family home. She moves into it and wants nothing more to be left as she has lost everyone she loves. Before she has a chance to settle her stepmother arrives at the door with her 10 year old half brother. Loralee tells she is broke and needs a place to stay. Loralee has a secret that she not sharing. As the two woman began bond they started uncovering a family secret that explains a lot. I recommend this book.
