Bad Blood by Dana Stabenow

The tale of two villages, Kushtaka and Kushulana one deteriorating and the other flourishing. The flourishing town changes with the advances available and the other standing still. Both are clanish and taught from birth to dislike each other. Neither will speak to outside world about the affairs of their village. The first death brought to Sargeant Jim Chopin is a young Kushtak stuff in a fish wheel. Next a Kushulana is found dead in the basement of his home. Jim Choplin is determined to find answers. Kate and Mutt come to his aide and together they find answers for the problem.
