COFFEE/TEA SHARE AUGUST 19, 2019

If we were having coffee/tea, I would let you know that the weather has been cool in the mornings and hot in the afternoons. The wind this morning has blown the smoke from the Pioneer Fire, burning in Central Idaho, out of the valley. I would invite you and your drink of choice before we go out to the patio to enjoy the cool breeze

Last week I wrote 2 blogs for coffee and both disappeared into cyberspace. Technology is beginning to stress me out as about the time I know how the new software works some else makes it out date. This week I had an appointment with my Primary care doctor. Afterwards we had great lunch at Chuckarama in Boise. It was Chuck Wagon Day. Friday afternoon I had physical therapy session. I can now walk very well with a cane, but walker is better.

If we were having coffee/tea, I would show some water pictures to help cool us off. The water falls are in Idaho and the ocean is off the coast of Oregon.

  1. The pictures are wonderful. The 2 valley shots are nice, but the waterfall pictures are beautiful! Thank you for sharing.

  2. DailyMusings says:

Love the photos- have a great weekend!

  3. I hope your visit to your Primary Care MD went well. I wondered about why I couldn’t find your coffee post last week as I was reading through everyone else’s on the link page, but don’t stress yourself out too much about that, I’m glad this one got through.
    I love the waterfalls.
    Have a great weekend πŸ™‚

  4. Chuck Wagon Day sounds interesting what does it mean? I love your waterfall photos particularly the one with the rainbow.

Hi! Glad to catch up and I’m glad to hear you’re getting around better.. Love the pics, especially the rainbow! Hot and humid here, they say our weather is about to break though.. Not ready for Fall!

  9. Suvi says:

I have now started the Orphan Train which you recommended! I am liking it so far. Happy weekend ❀

  10. Joanna Lynn says:

Glad you’re walking better and the pictures are gorgeous. I love water. I remember sitting by puddles or going down to the ditch at the deadend just to think by water. These are much better than puddles and ditches.

  11. Nancy says:

So glad to hear that you are walking better. All the hard work at therapy is paying off. I understand your frustration with technology. Sometimes I call my iPad all sorts of names when it won’t do what I want it to!! Thanks for sharing the beautiful photos. I never realized that there were so many amazing waterfalls in Idaho!

  12. Beaton says:

I absolutely hate it when I post something and it vapours into the ethers of the internet never to be seen again….
all the best in the therapy and all have an awesome week

I love the water photographs! The water falling over the cliff, in particular. You mentioned a book by Joyce and Jim Lavene that I have not yet read. (Not available in Nook format, evidently.) I always enjoyed their writing; we were members together in Christian eAuthors (I think that’s what it was–Leta Nolan Childers’ group) in my earlier years on the Internet. It seems so strange, not to be able to look forward, anymore, to new books from them.

I hope that progress continues with your physical therapy sessions and your walking.

    • Thanks for the nice comment. The waterfall is a little known falls in Eastern Central Idaho, called Mesa falls The is another lower down.
Like you I regret that there are no more Lavene books written. I was afraid that their books might become scare, so I went on Amazon and brought the books I definitely wanted to read. The Missing Pieces paranormal are one of my favorites. I have read and review them all now.
Joyce started following my blog before she died and I appreciated it.
I do belong to some Yahoo groups mostly mysteries.
