GREPE FACTOR By Laura Childs

An entertaining light that has scrapbooking tips and Cajun recipes. It has been awhile since I visited with Carmella Bertram and her shop in New Orleans. I have always enjoyed my visits and I was not disappointed. Carmella and her friend Eva are in the French Quarters for a Halloween festival when they witnessed the murder of a restaurant critic, Martin Lash. Edgar Babcock, a homicide detective and Carmella, currently boyfriend decides that Quigg Brevard an ex-boyfriend is the killer. Carmella sets out to clear Quigg against Babcock’s instructions to stay out of the investigation. The inquiry takes her to various restaurants, an on-line magazine, environments activists, home construction and the bayou of southern Louisiana. Disclosure: I received a free copy from Berkley Publishing Group through NetGalley for an honest review. I would like to thank them for this opportunity to read and review the book. The opinions expressed are my own.
