MASKED TO DEATH By Chistina Freeburn

This a fast cozy mystery with many unexpected turns. I found it hard to put down. It can be read as a standalone as the is enough backstory to allow you to understand it. Reading previous books will help you know the main characters. Faith Hunter and her friends board a cruise ship for the marriage between her friend PI Bob and his lover, Garrison. Faith hopes to have quality time with her boyfriend, disappearsTed and to meet his daughter, Claire. Ted’s and Bob’s Mother is hosting the wedding. Their Father, John is aboard the vessel and involves Faith in his investigation of missing jewelry. The wedding is postponed several times. There are a number of unexplained deaths. Faith finds she is out of the communication loop and is often left to find her way. Every time her path crosses Claire the is a problem. The ending is a surprise. Faith needs answers before disappears. I highly recommend this book and series. Disclosure: I received a free copy from Henery Press through NetGalley for an honest review. I would like to thank them for this opportunity to read and review the book. The opinions expressed are my own.

    Another one I missed.

I missed this one somehow. I guess it is easy to do. I did read the one before this in the Faith Hunter Scrap This Mystery series and enjoyed it.

Yes, I saw that as I am also paring down my list and was looking to add a few more. I have requested two of the mysteries but I passed on the straight chic lit.
