The first time I have read this author, the book is # in the series. I had trouble at first as I didn’t know the characters. They are well developed and the area’s descriptions draw you into the story. The quirks of characters intrigue me and I will read the earlier stories to understand them better.
Reagan Sunnysides accepted the offer of marriage to Walker Boone and is planning her marriage a d updating the family home. We have a case of a disappearing corpse. Reagan has seen it is several places before it rests in Aunt Kiki ‘s garage. The evidence points to her neighbors so Reagan and Aunt Kiki begin to look into the matter. Aunt Kiki goes undercover in a retirement home to learn who the dead person’s enemies are. There are funny scenes as the friends attempt to hide their involvement from the police. Walker doesn’t like Reagan’s actions but is there for her. I recommend this book. Recipes for martinis are included.
