BAD NEIGHBORS by Maia Chance

The second book in this series and a new author to me. I found and good Plot that was slightly different from the usual cozy mastery. The characters different not development and I didn’t relate to them. I have not read the first book but had no trouble following the story and the characters.
Agnes Blythe has returned back to her childhood home and has joined her Great Aunt Eddie’s in restoring an Inn that once been a slice of pride in Naneda, New York. The inn needs a lot of work and is not open for business. Effie received a phone call asking if she would accommodate passengers from a tour. Their coach had broken down and rooms were full due to the leaf peeping time. Agnes goes to pick up the stranded motorists. On arrival, she finds a murder has just taken place and her boyfriend is the main suspect. Eddie and Agnes decided to explore the murder to clear her boyfriend. At this point, the tale has many twist and turns. The murderer is well concealed and might surprise you. It did me. I recommend this book.
