BOOKS ADDED THIS WEEK – JULY 21, 2018

THINK POSITIVE! HUGS! ๐ŸŒŸ ๐Ÿ’•

I have long been a member of Edelweiss but I found it hard to use. I have been visiting it again as one of my favorite publishers, Henery Press is now using it. I have been finding books there I am please to find.

My hiatal hernia is acting up and I have been ill the last few days. I have 4 surgeries to correct it. I have started speech therapy to help. I need to cut back on my books. I have way too many ARC’s and DRC’s review  copies. Most are to be released in the fall so I have time. No more books  until I read and review what I have already.

    • I h,ave a problem getting on Edelweiss. I use the book I got. Once on it you should your name. Click that I all ready had account. Set up your profile and picture. Similar to NetGalley. There videos to watch. Click review and request. I spent one morning trying to upgrade my account. I still don’t understand it very well. Goodluck!

Some great choices here Betty. I aviso noticed that Hendry Press was now using Edelwiess. It is also one of my favourite publishers.

    • I always that Edelweiss didn’t have many books so I seldom visited it. So far I found 5 books that I want to read. Some that aren’t on NetGalley. I don’t want I am doing on Edelweiss. I find it hard to read. Amazon puts the books back on my documents file.

I started using Edelweiss when I was declined for a book on Netgalley, but got it on Edelweiss. Because I use the kindle app on my tablet, I have not issue.

      • That what I am finding out now. There are a couple book I have been approved on NetGalley but my Overdrive does not recognize them. I went looking on Edelweiss ad so far haven’t found them. I have been working computer s since 1985 but the new technology is a baffled to me. However, I have a self imposed stopping of requesting any more books until I get my current request done. My health is giving me problems again. I wrote 6 reviews today. They are all on Goodreads now. I need to check my grammar before I put them on other sites. They are all due out in August. I am starting to read those in September.

Hope your health improves Betty. Take care of yourself.

      • Thanks! A new caregiver today that will be a big stress remover. ,๐Ÿ˜‡๐ŸŒŸ

I’m sorry your health issues are continuing. I hope you feel better soon. I had already requested the J.A. Jance book per your recommendation, but tonight I requested The Road to Paradise. It sounds like an interesting series. It took me FOREVER to locate it on Edelweiss, but I was persistent since I knew from your post that it was there. Hopefully, we will get better at Edelweiss. It sounds like we are not the only ones with issues with it.
