THROWBACK THURSDAY – RIPPED FROM THE PAGES by Kate Carlisle

THINK POSITIVE! HUGS!

MY REVIEW

Tension is in the air as the huge crushing machine enters the cave. Silence takes over as the machine suddenly stops. Brooklyn joins the men of her family. The machine has stopped before cement wall. It is dark inside and the flashlight shows a treasure cove of small brilliant statutes, books and furniture. Suddenly the beam light illuminates a body. Where did all this come from? The man’s papers indicated he was a visitor in 1946. The cave had not been enter for 70 years adding to the problem. Brooklyn and Derek work with Guru Bob to find answers. This is one of my favorite series and I recommend it highly.

  1. I do have a book from this series sitting on my bookshelf. I really need to read it! lol

    • This one of my go to series. It is about books. Brooklyn repairs books and many are about an old book that’s extremely valuable plus Brooklyn her parents were along to commune and name there children after the city they were born.

That does sound like a good series. I usually like it when books are a theme.
