THE BODY IN THE GOLDENROD by Gloria Alden

THINK POSITIVE! HUGS!

The fourth book in the Catherine Jewell garden series. I was pleasantly surprised that this book was edited and format There was a lot romance starting and Catherine romance with Police Chief John MacDougall continues. A Civil War reenactment is taking place at Elmwood gardens. Daniel Webster abuses his wife and family plus almost all of the town. After battle is over he is found dead in a field of goldenrods. The Police have problems solving the as so many had motives. John has hired a new officer and she has a police dog. A black family moves to the village. I can highly recommend this book. I am looking forward to the next book.
