Growing up I never received a blue dress doll. As I was the first girl in the family my gifts were pink and my sister’s were blue. How I want a blue dress doll. My pictures are most flowers as that was what I enjoyed, Birds are a second love but there are no pink birds to my knowledge. Enjoyed the pink photos

  1. Such a nice set of pink images, BL! It is nice to be surrounded by pink flowers! Funny about the dress colors for the dolls, wonder why you got pink?

    • It’s a generation gap. My childhood was in the 30/40’s and we didn’t have sonogram to determine the sex of the child blue for boy and pink for girls. I was The first girl born so I always got pink. A trip to my favorite grocery store gives the fact of how different it right now. You would never find a class with an hour to teach the Palmer method of writing. I can remember an hour of copying the letter O.

  2. Lovely 😊 childhood memories ❤️
