I was delighted to see a new book in this fun series with all the different animals. DAPHINE is a highly educated person so decided not to work in her field but open a pet walking business. She has recused a couple of dogs and talk the homicide detective into adopting others. In one of the books she was left a cat who adds many funny scenes as she reacts to the dogs. Daphne now has decided to open a pet stores. I am anxiously awaiting to read this book.

Daphne Templeton is again surrounded by an animal in Sylvan Creek. Her plans to open a pet bakery are moving slowly.  The Tail Wagging  Winterfest has started and Daphne plans on taking part in the Polar Bear Plunge into the lake that is poorly organized. A St Bernard appears out of nowhere and pulls an unconscious person from the chaos that occurred when the group jumped into the freezing water. The dog quickly disappeared. The dead person turns out to a TV producer who had many enemies. The autopsy shows she was murder. Daphne investigated even though she promised to stay out of the case. Daphne uncovers secrets that the several of the residents. The ending is a surprise. Recipes for pet treats are included.I highly recommend this book and series.

BOOK # 2

MY REVIEW

A fast, stimulating and funny read from the Lucky Paws Pet Sitters series. Daphne Templeton still has her Volkswagen, her cell phone doesn't always work and she is moving into the cottage. This book brought smile and laughter throughout as Daphne manage to get herself in trouble by acting fast. 
At a fundraiser, a career volunteer is murdered and Daphne takes procession of her wild destructive cat, Tinkleston, a pedigree black cat. Maeve Templeton has a motive in the killing and Daphne looks into portions of the I investigation to clear her name. Daphne is surprised to find herself named in the will. She must be careful before she loses her life. I highly recommend this book and series. Homemade Pet recipes are included.
