Richie Amalfi has taken steps to protect her as he feels that the person is high in the police department. Rebecca has a couple of surprises in store for her. She has visit from her Mother who made the journey from Idaho. The other that her partner Bill Sutter has retired and her new partner is a rookie who follows the rules.

The current case involves a delivery man who is MURDERED and his 2 children have disappeared. The twists and turns as Rebecca moves to escape events that are design to kill her will keep the pages turned. Why was a delivery man kill? Where are his children? Who wants to kill Rebecca?

I have been reading Joanne Pence since I read the first Angie Amalfi book, SOMETHING COOKING by her that I got from my public library.I think I have read all the books of both series and admire them all. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND SERIES.
