BOOKS ADDED THIS WEEK TO MY TBR PILE – August 5, 2020

Fall is good time of the year for new mysteries being release; yesterday a number were released. I downed 6 of them and request a sample of another. No pictures available to me. Here is a list of the books ordered not in any order, not sure Of first one I will started when I finished reading The Timber Creek K-9 series. I am on # 4 book BURNING RIDGE by Margaret Mizushima.

Sample DRIZZLED WITH DEATH #1 by Jessie Crockett –

I read a story sometime ago and I enjoy but couldn’t find any other books. It is set in New Hampshire and the MC lives on family-owned maple syrup farm.

THE FALCON ALWAYS WINGS TWICE by Donna Andrews

A long time favorite but I let lapse because of the cost of e-books so I am happy to catch up with Meg and all her crasy characters.

JEWELS IN THE JUMPIER by Dale Mayers

A feel good series Lovely Lethal Gardens series I have been reading for long time. The MC is looking into cold cases and has success of solving them. She three animals, a cat, a dog, and African Grey Parrot that added much to the story. The books have been release twice year.I highly recommend this series for light reading.

THE LAST MRS SUMMERS by Rhys Bowen

The latest book of the Royal Spyness series. The first after Georgiana’s wedding.

TEA AND TREACHERY by Vicky Delany

The first book of new series, Tea by the sea. I have like books by this author but I still like the books Constable Molly Smith the best of the series.

SPLINTERED SILENCE by Susan Furlong

The new book of Stone Cap series that I have read since the first came out. The MC is ex-marine who has PTSD and her dog who was injury in same action as the MC. I see this the first book of the series and I ARC of sometime ago

PENNED IN by Lynn Cahoon

A Farm to Fork novella and just out. It is set in the Old Idaho penitentiary. I am familiar with this building as my girl scout troop visited gift shop in the 1930’s.

I closing I am looking forward to reading these books. Enjoy your books as they will take to many adventures.
