Holiday Buzz by Cleo Coyle

I like to read about the different coffees even if I can’t drink it. The Coffee Houses mysteries are well written and the plots are excellent. I have not read many as I seldom find them so I have not develop a strong feelings for the different personalities.

This book takes place just before the holidays and Clare Cosi is busy catering her coffee blends at holiday cookie exchanges. At the first one she find a part time employee murder nearby. The lead detective decides DNA will determine the killer. After finding that is not true he decide she is a victim of the Christmas Stalker and he is sure the stalker is one of the barristers. Cleo must find the answer to help her friends. Ex-husband Matt plays important part while Mike Quinn is in D C. Irish thugs, arson and a senior retirement home are involved.

  1. Whenever I think of coffee houses, two things come to mind. The French cafes and beatniks, lol.
