Old Murders Never Die by Marja McGraw

This the fifth book in the series and new to me. I had no trouble following it. Sandi Webster a PI working out Los Angles area. Sandi and finance planed a week camping in Northern Arizona. A wrong turn on the back roads lead them a ghost town. The evidence shows the people left in a hurry leaving all their professions behind. While exploring someone disables their car until they located the part they can’t leave. Sandi finds the sheriff’s records and learn there were a series of women murder about one hundred years ago. They spied a cowboy on a horse watching them. Sandi to solve the murder and they must challenge the cowboy to leave. The ending is a surprise.
