The first book in this paranormal romantic mystery is a fun , relaxing read. Carly Hartwell is racing to reach her shop of magic portions before the mob wanting to get love potions. After her arrival she is startled to find a dead body holding a bottle of her portion in the middle of her shop. Her ex fiance his the homicide detective on the case. They had tried to get married twice only to have his mother sabotage the attempts. Carly uses her witch’s talents to cure and help. She has a cousin, Delia who practice the art of hexs. The characters will capture your interest at once as they search for answers.
