An excellent written cozy mystery but I found it very predictable. It is a book to read relax as Kate Kennedy is recovering from the death of her husband. Standing on her balcony, she sees a friend stumble a dead body. The victim has been in a fighting with the mayor about a developer who wants the city to use eminent domain so he can tear down the condos and built a parking garage. Kate gets involved as she does not feel the party arrested is the killer. She begins to explore what happens. Kats puts herself in danger by doing the investigation. She is saved by an attractive homicide detective. I will read another book by this author.

Disclosure: I received a free copy from HENERY PRESS through NetGalley for an honest review. I would like to thank them for this opportunity to read and review the book. The opinions are my own.
