BREAKDOWN By Jonathan Kellerman

Kellerman doses not disappoint in with his latest book. Alex is called in to access a woman who is obviously disturbed. A colleague treated 5 years earlier and asked him to treat her 5-year-old son. Alex finds the woman a bed in a halfway house which she promptly leaves. Alex is concerned about her son as there is no record of him anywhere. Milo uses her police powers to help locate the son. The search reveals a diabolical plot against the woman. The ending will surprise you. I hadn’t figured it out. I recommend this book.

I’ve heard these are really great books and you’ve just seconded that.

    • Another good series most libraries have. The early ones touch on subjects are taboo even today. They are definitely thrillers. I like Faye Kellerman’s book. The scene were the mountain lion ate the villian and the police could not help still reminds in my mind.

  2. Her writing is that good
