It is Whale watching time off the Pacific coast, Kelly Jackson is set to take over the management of Redwood Cove. Her employer is getting ready to sale one of his other properties and Kelly has been asked to do an inventory of the artifacts of Redwood Heights where several pieces of jewelry have gone missing. A customer is found dead in her room. There are smoke, a locked room, a hidden staircase and a hidden historical room, that will keep Kelly busy as she searches for answers. The senior sleuths are active again as they search for a mysterious guest who stays one night at Redwood Heights. There are a few surprises as the answer to the events found. I recommend this book. Disclosure: I received a free copy from Kensington Books through NetGalley for an honest review. I would like to thank them for this opportunity to read and review the book. The opinions are my own.
