Penny’s phone ring in the night , reaching sleepy she answer. The noises in the background indicate that fight is occurring. In a frightened voice, Max says, “Help Me!.” This the starts a fresh adventure for Penny Sutherland. Her Red Carpet Catering firm is in New York city on short movie job. Joey has planned a weekend for them at an elite hotel. Penny accompanied by Joey goes to the address. Penny knocks back from the door and Joey fired his gun at a fleeing person. There is a murdered man in the apartment. Joey is suspended for firing his gun. Penny finds herself alone in the city looking for Max. What has happened to Max?. Is he dead or the killer. Searching for answers, Penny finds evidence of a human smuggling. Is Max involved? I suggest reading this series in order.
