A DARK AND STORMY MURDER BY Julia Buckley

Julia London arrives in Blue Lake, Indiana to begin a dream job with mystery writer Camilla Graham. On arrival, Julia finds the residents not very welcoming as settled in the town. Making friends with the neighboring man she appears to have made enemies. Looking out the windows she sees someone lying on the beach who is not moving. On further investigation, the man has been shot dead. The next few nights the behavior of Camilla’s German Shepherds indicated prowlers around the house. The writing will put you with Julia at her new home. The story has a missing wife, secret rooms, drugs and the beginnings of a love triangle. The ending is surprising. I recommend this book.

Disclosure: I received a free copy from Berkley Publishing Group through NetGalley for an honest review. I would like to thank them for this opportunity to read and review the book.
