Pepper Martin is a spoil rich girl who has lost all her family’s money
when her Dad was convicted of Medicare Fraud. He went to a federal prison and the government took all the family’s money. Pepper has no marketable skills and the only job she could find was a tour guide at the cemetery. On a tour, she hits her head on a tomb. Upon awakening, she is able to see ghosts. The ghosts all want her to do something for them. The books all cold cases reflecting a mystery. Pepper does have romance in each book, but no sex. The books can be read as a standalone.
This book finds Pepper in charge of a group of mix trustees pitted against a like number of society ladies in a reality contest. The winner is whichever team brings in most donations for the cemetery. The section that Pepper’s team that has been assign is in the area where the ghost who is bother Pepper is buried in the section. He wants Pepper to out who framed for the murder that sent him to prison. The tale has enough changes in its direction that will enthrall you. As usual, the ending will surprise you.
