WOOF AT THE DOOR ByLeslie O’Kane

Allie Babcock is ready to knock on a door. Suddenly, it opens and Allie is staring at a wolf ready to attack. Allie is petrified and moves slightly. Its handler grabs the leash and pulls the wolf back. After the handler and wolf leave the homeowners asked her to check their Samoyed bitch as to why she would not let the wolf near her. Allie checks and finds the dog carrying puppies. Informing the couple about their dog’s condition, Allie finds herself in the middle of a long-standing neighborhood feud. This fast story has enough twist and turns to keep you reading.
I adore this series, but I am aware the main characters are underdeveloped and there editing errors. The latter does not hinder my enjoyment of the story. I would have like to more information on when and how a dog gets pregnant. I highly recommend this series.

I have to find the time to start reading this series.

    • When I want to read a book, I usually take the time.

I am reading one right now just for pleasure, one I’ve been wanting to read. That doesn’t happen very often.

      • That is the only way. In this last week I have 3 requests from authors to read their book.

It gets hard always having to read something that you HAVE to read. So I decided to pick one for myself that came in from the library.

      • I decided some time ago I would read what I like. Have noticed the lack of cozies on NetGalley. If the trend keeps up I will have plenty of time to read what Iblike.

      • I just went on NetGalley and visit Kensington. I found 3, publishing date for October 25. I had to search for them. I have 5 to read for September 27. NetGalley has made another major changed. There were 3 books listed for me to read that I never requested and now are. archived.

      • The only thing I can suggest is that I was already approved I could download them. There are two more on my site thai I didn’t request as they are thrillers. I don’t remember them and I couldn’t find and requests pending. One I was Lea Wait new book, all out October 25. The site has changed completely. I am going to read one now. UNLUCKY CHARMS by Linda O’ Jonathon due out Oct 8th. FORGET THAT I just realized I have 5 out September 27. BOOK CLUB MURDERS it is.
