DIGGING UP DIRT By Miranda James

A fun visit with Ducote Sisters, Dickee, An’gel, Benjy, Peanut, and Endora. The Sisters visited many places in Athena as they look into the strange happenings occurring at Ashton Hall that occurred 40 years ago. Hadley Partridge has returned home after his brother death to restore Ashton Hall to its grandeur. His brother has allowed it to become rundown. The board of Athena Garden Club is in a fluster as they all had a crush on Hadley before he left the area. One of the Board members is found dead at the bottom of stairs in her home. In the aftermath of a storm, Peanut and Endora located human bones near an aged oak tree. Another Garden Club member is seriously damaged in an accident near Ashton Hall. This tale takes the sisters on a dangerous path as they explore this event. Our friend chief homicide, Kenesha has the case. The author has melted this story superbly with his Cats In Stack series. I highly recommend this book for relaxing reading.
