If we were having coffee/tea, I would invite you and let you chose your drink and treat. We would join Kato out on the patio. A storm is passing through the Boise Valley, but it is bringing mostly wind and very little moisture. We are in lull and the parking is slowly changing to fall colors. This week temperatures are forcast for the low 70’s Fahrenheit. Last week the afternoons were in the high 80’s and humidity was difficult to handle. Let’s take a walk around the complex this morning. Our apartment is the one with the flag flying.

If we were having coffee/tea, I would tell you I am finding the internet slow and unstable this morning. I not sure how it happened, but this week we signed up for a virus protection and help for all four of our electronic gear. I haven’t really tried my computer, I will find out on Tuesday when I upload my reviews. My Kindle battery has been hot, but it does seem to work better. I heard no complaints from my husband so it must have help.

Let’s talk about some I read in the 80’s and were favorites. I would read over and over again. They are now coming out in ebooks and I have been ennoying them. Miss Silver are classic cozy mysteries. The are set in an English village. Miss Silver is a retired governess who is now a PI.  They are character-driven and a light relaxing read. No sex or violence, but there is a romance. I started the first one GREY MASK last night and while I remember reading it I still don’t remember the ending. There are enough twists and turns to keep me turning the pages. I will be reading for awhile. BOOKS being review on Tuesday October 4th are:

ALL THE LITTLE LIARS by Charliane Harris

CREPE FACTOR by Laura Childs

Other books read are:

IF WALLS COULD TALK by Juliet Blackwell

I hardly ever remember the endings! We used to laugh in the Agatha Christie group about how we could never remember who dun it. At least it made the rereads more fun.

  8. Joanna Lynn says:

Gorgeous flowers! That’s a great way of arranging them. Are there lots of cactus in Boise? You have many pictures of them. They’re fascinating plants.
