RED TIDE By Peg Brantley

My thanks to the author for a free copy. I found it difficult to write a review about this story and would score 3.5 stars. I like Jamie and her dogs very much. The information on the difference between a therapy, a cadaver and search and rescue dogs informative. I liked Jamie and Jaz but felt the other girls were fillers. At times I was engaged in the story and other times I wonder why I was still reading it. I am not a fan of the murderer’s point of view. This is a major component of the tale. I felt the use of women was overwhelming. Too much rendered mean less There were too many subplots that distracted from the main theme. Some were brought together and others were just left out there. I would read more about Jamie and her dogs, but the next book does not include them.
