MURDER AND MAYHEM IN GOOSE PIMPLE JUNCTION By Amy Metz

I brought this book for Save Our Cozies and I found a mixture of mystery and a romance. The format of telling the story as a cold case and the MC solving it present day is not a favorite of mine. I felt the plot was predictable and characters needed better development. The tale was full of local sayings that interrupted the plot.
Tess Tremaine has moved to Goose Pimple Junction to started a new life. She teams up with Jackson Wright, a published mystery writer, to solved a cold case mystery that occurred in the town. Tess is attracted to the case as she found a mysterious key in an air vent in her house. She needs an answer before she ends up dead.
