If we were having Coffee/tea ☕ ☕, would asked you to come inside out of cold windy weather. Last week so rain at times with snow in the higher elevations. Select your beverage of choice and there is some cinnamon toast. I have been waiting for Thanksgiving to share this photo.

My apologies to all for not reading your posts 📪last week. It was one very frustrating and not much for done. My Kindle arrived Friday afternoon. It didn’t download correctly and I spent my a lot of time with Amazon help. I got misleading information and no one suggested looking at the name of the Kindle 🔥#3. It is different from 🔥#2. That appears to be the problem. I came very close to returning. When my NetGalley books 📚 arrived in 🔥#3, I started coming back from distress. I lost a lot and may not get them back. My ARCs did not 👇download not my local news.

On plus 👆side find🔥fire is lighter and fits better in my hands. When it is working, it is fast and has the pictures  I guess in its dictionary. Be careful as it will change 😈 your words. It does lock at times. I guess I will become custom to it.😊

My brother make reservations at a local restaurant for Thanksgiving meal. My brother and wife picked us up in the afternoon. We had a good meal. The restaurant was packed and I was surprised to see so many families there. The restaurant ran out of Turkey  but they had roast beef. It look like a delicious strawberry shortcake but I couldn’t have it. There were two other restaurants open in the area. We eat at one last year. We got there around 11:00A.M., the line was almost to the street. When we left, the line was circling around the block.📚📃📃📃📚📚📚☕☕🍵🍵🍩📚📚📚📚🐈🐈🐝🐝📚📚📚📚📚📚🐈🐈📚📚📚📚☕☕🍵🍵🐈🐈🍩🍩📚📚📚📚📚📚📚

Thanksgiving is not celebrated here in Australia however more and more people are eating out on Christmas Day. Bookings open about 6 months ahead of time- in the middle of the year!
You certainly got through a fair few books this week didn’t you:)

  2. Tara says:

Hope you have a great week and lots o’ fun reading!

  3. Kathleen Howell says:

Hope your new Kindle gets straightened out.. New devices are always challenging, it seems. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving. Love the turkey pic!

  4. DailyMusings says:

Amazing how many people go out to eat on Thanksgiving! We can’t live without our devices but they do drive us crazy!! Love that photo of the Turkey!

I don’t just sympathize with your new Kindle problems, I empathize. Yesterday I sat next to my husband at his computer during a 3 hour keyboard chat with a tech support man regarding getting a new mail address set up through a more secure server than Apple iCloud. At the end they both just gave up. Later my husband figured out a work around. So now he has to contact all of the companies we do business with to let them know of the change. Technology is such a blessing–when it works!
Your turkey picture is amazing and the landscapes are beautiful. We went to a Sizzling Sirloin
in the “big city” (Morelia, the capital city of Michóacan) about an hour from home to meet friends for a Thanksgiving dinner. It was good and not surprisingly, not crowded. I was told that it would be very crowded at Christmas so we will probably avoid that. I guess lots of people are happy to avoid the fuss of a huge holiday feast from the Northwest to Mexico!
I think this week will be a good one for you!

    • I guess the name of the game is to made it hard to connect. I still have as couple more things to sort out. I still a couple of things to straighten out but I dread spending time with the help so I have been putting it off. I have always liked that Turkey as he struck in front of us. We have forgotten the original meanings of the different holidays as commercial unrest take over. I noticed how strongly this changing at the restaurant Thursday. Have a pleasant week.

Sounds like a nice Thanksgiving dinner out. I know several people who ate out this year for the holiday. Hope you get your new kindle straightened out.

  7. Nancy says:

Sorry to hear about you Kindle issues. Technology can sometimes be more trouble than it’s worth. Love the turkey photo. I’ve never seen one running around like that. Glad you enjoyed your Thanksgiving meal. I must be excellent food judging from the line outside!

  8. Joanna Lynn says:

Sounds like you had a good dinner, but sorry the Kindle gave you so much trouble.
