Come inside quick where it is warm. This winter is terrible. Snow, sleet, freezing rain and wind. This is the third day of it. Chose your beverage There is coffee and several kinds of tea. There are cupcakes in the freezer. Take a seat by the window and watch the birds in the patio. Bob has been feeding about 50 California quail near the fence and he dropped brain on the patio. The small birds found it so he scattered some on it.

This has been a busy week for us. Monday grocery shopping. The Christmas items were placed together in the back of the store. They were selling poinsettias and only a few other flowers 💐. Alita and myself out up the decorations for our door. Friday more groceries to buy. It tired me out. Not many residents seem to be decorating their doors this year. I will started cards this weekend. I am not looking forward to it.

If we were having Coffee/tea, I would tell you Amazon has done it again. They have changed their cloud site for photos. It reminds me of my old Google site.I spent a Lot of time organizing my pictures 📷 into groups. When Amazon took over my photos they place them according to dates and not get accurate. Now I can spend time redoing it. There is also face id software and a group of my faves they want names for them. Also, a place to list all my family. Now I can add people to share the pictures. My photos are so mess up I can’t find ones I want. I can even make group for WordPress. I don’t doubt it will be popular. It seems to be working okay right now.

I have been reading a number of books both ARCs and from my library. I don’t have many ARCs being published until after Christmas. I am excited as searching my library for a book title I learned there will be a new  JOE GREY, CAT SHINING BRIGHT by Shirley Rousseau  Murphy out AUGUST, 2017.  I am looking forward to read it.

December 13 LOT LUCK by Kendel Lynn

December 15  MISS SEETON UNDERCOVER by Hampton Charles

December 16 INSPECTOR HOBBS AND THE BONES  by Wilkie Marten

Other books that I will have reviewed are:

NOTES FROM HELL by Karen Buckey

    Your door looks beautiful.

I like to stay up to date on most things, but I still keep my own photos. I think I have almost a terabyte of them, so I’d go broke keeping them in the cloud! I started digital photography in the mid 90s, so 20 years worth of photos. The white stuff on the parking lot looks familiar from here. I like your door decorations. Have a great week!

Your entryway looks beautiful! We are supposed to get snow tomorrow- I do dread it! Sorry to hear about your photos- so annoying after spending the time organizing them. Hope the snow quits and next week is bright and sunny!

Oooh! It IS cold at your place. Here in Kuwait, the winters have just arrived, so it’s pleasant. I like the Christmassy decoration that you have done. Looks festive and inviting.
Happy reading and have a great week ahead, Betty 🙂

Looks downright cold there. We hardly ever get snow here (not more than a dusting when we do… Does get cold though.

Drives me nuts when photos get grouped together and any sorting and organizing I’ve done is for nought.

Whenever I open up photos on my phone, it seems there are a ton (well not literally) different “albums” – places, people, instagram, selfies, etc…in addition to any I create.

It’s scary when a computer goes in and tries to organize your life for you–and frustrating.
I love your door decorations; they are so inviting. I bet the other residents are enjoying them when they pass by, especially if they have not been able to put any up themselves.

    • I was upset when Microsoft have forms to answer letter and other affairs. I always wanted to do my own. Have you notice I read very few of the popular books not do I made a list of my favorites, other to tag them as favorites. I prefer to have my own opinions.

  7. Your reindeer photo is amazing.

  8. Corina says:

All the photos I take on my phone automatically upload to Amazon. I know they changed their photo cloud but I haven’t had time to go in and check out the changes. Maybe I’ll get to do that between Christmas and New Years when things slow down a bit.

I like your entry way. I made a wreath this year (out of supplies from the Dollar Tree store and some odds and ends I had on hand) and hung it outside my front door. I have the little lit up Santa face in the front window.. I keep forgetting to plug it in so it usually isn’t on unless one of the grand sons comes over and runs to plug it in. I still haven’t put up my tiny Christmas tree. Once that is up, that’s it for decorating for me.

I hope your snow stops and it warms up, at least a few degrees. It makes such a difference! Have a super week!

    • Since I take my photos with my Kindle they automatically upload to Cloud Amazon. Your Christmas decorations sound lovely. The snow and rain has stop and it is sunny and windy out, temperatures around freezing.

Your decorations look so festive! How frustrating that you are having to reorganize all your photos.

  10. Your entry way looks warm and inviting, BettyLouise, a big contrast to the outdoors! Stay warm!!

  11. Great decorations Betty! Stay warm and have a good week!

I love your door, that’s so lovely to decorate it for Christmas 💕💕
