If we were having Coffee/tea ☕☕, I would welcome you inside📚📚 this last day of 2016. It is still cold outside and our snow cover remains. There has periods of snow  and fog. After the fog leaves the trees are full of frost. The forecast is for another week of this weather with even lower temperatures, minus zero degrees. The snow is normal for our summer water.

Our Christmas was nice and quiet. Kato 🐱 had good one as my brother and his family played with him. I am not looking for to Monday. In 2017 there are major changes to our income and medical insurance. Mine will stay the same but Bob will have changes. He has 3 appointments next week. Our Social Security will go up but our rent increased 😢 and medical  has gone up and I won’t know how we stand for a couple 💑 of months. January 7 we will quietly celebrated our 62 years marriage.👏

If we were having Coffee/tea ☕☕, I would let you know that I having been putting any pictures on my blog as Amazon Cloud has set up my pictures in a different way and I can’t find anyone😢😢 I want. I tried on my computer and it is no better. I am not sure what I will do.

According to Goodreads I read 351 books in 2016, the shortest book had 125 pages  A CAMPY CHRISTMAS by Karen Musser Nortman

the longest book  had 640 pages KILLER LOOK  by Linda Fairstein

Most popular book THE SUMMER BEFORE THE WAR by Helen S Simonson

Least popular book NOTES FROM HELL  by Rachel Bukey

The highest Rated AMONG THE TREES by Gail Matrlson

I read approximately  53  books that feature cats  and 29 books that feature dogs.

Books for the this week are following

January 1 GRAVEYARD SHIFT by Casey Daniels

FUDGE AND FURRY by Ellie Alexander

January 4 FORGOTTEN BOXES by Becki Willis

  12. Happy New Year, Betty. Congratulations on celebrating 62 years of togetherness. My parents will celebrate 66 years later this month.
I’m amazed at the books you’ve read. I tried for 250 this year and reached 237.

    • My health won’t let me do much else, I am a fast reader and I select books I know I that I will write. I read for pleasure and the reviews were an after sight. I was surprised for the positive result.

  14. Corina says:

A late happy new year to you! Your weather is so much colder than ours and ours is pretty cold. We’re at 29 right now although the wind makes it feel like 21. We are supposed to dip into single digits this week. Not looking forward to that but I have few places to go and most of them involve very quick in and out from indoors to the car so I don’t have to be out in the cold very long. What a great milestone your anniversary is!

  15. lghiggins says:

Happy New Year and Happy Anniversary! 62 years is amazing! Stay warm and try not to be too frustrated by the finances. For me, having the three appointments to try to sort it all out would be frustration enough!
