A book by Joanne Pence is always entertaining and this one is no different. Rebecca Mayfield is researching deaths of elderly persons who at one time were wealthy but died a pauper. Richie brought the case to her as his Mother is going to seances and he is worried about her. Rebecca has always been curious about the paranormal. The FBI and the state liquor board are both interested in what Richie is doing. The FBI wants Rebecca to report on Richie’s life. Rebecca refuses. She is looking for answers as she doesn’t believe Richie is guilty. I highly recommend this book and now reading the next book.
