Welcome, come inside out of the cold.still around in large amounts. Sone of it melts a little every day. The foothill got more snow last night making a beautiful scene from the valey floor. Spring is late this year, the trees have not even put out nee buds. Usually, by this time the trees have started to put out buds. The forecast is for more rain.

If we were having coffee/tea, I would tell you my news of reaching 500 followers. It was not a surprise for me as I have been seeing it slowly inch up. Thanks to all for the support. I wrote special blog

I like the new mobile site on WordPress especially the area where they feature back blogs and other blog similar to your blog. I have a number of views from reviews that have been on the site for awhile. I have also spent reading other blogs as time allows. I am slowly learning how to use it.

I would tell you that this winter has been hard on Kato. The chemical that is used to melt the snow has damaged his pads. They are all cracked. It hurts him to walk.  The vet says to use warm water and clean off his paws. The yearly cat show is next month and I hope to be able to go. The news on the Bengal groups is that the Bengal cat will be featured at the Westminster Dog show in their MEET THE NEW BREEDS along with 3 dogs. The breed has come a long way since we add Kato to our family 14 years ago.

Nice photos! We’re getting a taste of spring this week — temps near 60 mid-week, they say. We haven’t had a really good snowstorm. I’d like one before the winter ends, as long as I don’t have to drive in it!

    Have a great week!

The wildlife pictures are splendid this week…including Kato in action. The moose in the water is very special. Thanks for the coffee.

Is that an elk in your photo? Such a beautiful face it has. Kato is a beauty

    • There twp ictures of elk , one the group running and the other eating. The one with the anthers is a deer who hide out in the center of the wildlife preserve during hunting season.

    • There are two elk piictues one of them running, the other feeding near a river. The one with anthers is a deer. During hunting season he stayed deep in the wildlife preserve.

Those wildlife photos are amazing, Betty Louise. Hope Kato’s paws are feeling better and you have a great week.

  5. Congrats on reaching 500 followers, that is exciting. I am excited with each new follower that joins up, I have just over 100 myself. Wonderful photographs as usual. Great post, thanks for sharing.

Wonderful series of photos. Have a great week, Betty! 🙂

What beautiful photos of Kato. I feel for the dogs and cats when I see them limping about outside. Their paws always look so painful.

It may not be spring yet, but your flower pictures give us hope! I have only had rescue cats and just one with an identifiable breed–Siamese. I am not familiar at all with Bengal cats, so I googled them. Kato is a beautiful cat. I love his colors and markings in the picture where he is “helping” with his food. I hope you will be able to go to the show; that would be so much fun.

Your wildlife pictures are amazing. My favorite is the deer–he is big with a beautiful rack and is so majestic. The shot of the sheep is wonderful too. They can be rather reclusive. Were all of those pictures taken in Idaho?

I haven’t seen the changes to the mobile WordPress site. I usually use my laptop for blogging. I’ll have to check it out. I still haven’t mastered the PC version. There are so many features. I feel fortunate to have worked through what I needed to get my blog going and later make a few changes. Have a wonderful week, Betty.

    • Thanks for compliments. The picture of Kato was taking the day after we got him. He was curious about what was doing the look on his said” You don’t expect me to eat it? ” The Bengal has been around awhile. The Cat Fanciers Of America have refused to recognize the breed, it is the fastest growing breed worldwise. it has moved the breed from half-breeds to domestic cats. I was amused to see their picture is a Bengal.
No the pictures were not all taken in Idaho. The deer was taken on Pahrangat Wildlife Refuge. The deer moved into the depth of refuge during hunting season. The hunters knew they were and made rounds on the edge. The sheep were taken in Washington state on a wildlife range using a telescope.
I used the Kindle and only used my computer when adding books. At the end of each blog there are a couple of your back blogs and better still a couple of related blogs by others. I have found several blogs that I enjoy reading. Also you can be answering a blogger and hit the party and pulled up all the blogs from that person. aI find it very useful. If you reply on the blog it counts more than replying from the email. Think Positive!

Congratulations on 500 followers! As usual, your photos are beautiful!

  10. Poor Kato. Hope his paws are getting better. We have to be very careful with the heat here that the dogs don’t walk on the road or on the beach when it is boiling hot as they can burn their pads really easily. I’d like to get them some shoes but I don’t think either of them would wear them (for very long anyway). Congratulations on your followers. Hope you get to the cat show. Loved your wildlife photos. They are animals that we don’t see in Australia and lovely to see in their own habitat. Thanks for coffee. have a good week Betty.
    Cheers Irene
