Welcome, come insided on this beautiful spring morning. It is still on the cool side. Select your drink of choice and a piece of cake. A day of sun is very welcome after a week of winter. Tursday we had about two inches of snow than a couple days of rain. This brought floods in low lying areas and along the rivers. Major flooding along the Snake River. The large amount of snow we had on the ground has melted and none is in sight.

There is no signs of spring yet. The trees are show no new groth, grass is still ta  a d brown withno hint of green. The red berries on the trees out front of building are gone due to a flock of robins last month. The mountains to the southwest are all snow cover.

Kato is in better health and his pads have healed. He has had walks the last 3 days and is pestering Bob fo one today. I am stil planning on attending the Cat Show next month.

Magic Puzzles is now working. Doing them does keep my mind occupied and allows me to relax when things get too much for me. I haven’t been able to handle stress for last couple of years. I still can get into my pictures.

A couple weeks ago,  we brought a Vitamin D heat lamp. I have used it now every day for about three hours. I do feel different, I am looking at things that happen in a different way. Instead of being depressed, I get angry, which is a form of depression. They run from around $40 – 80 at most retail and online stores.

I look at clothes this week as I need some. I was horrified at what was in the store. Women pants, one leg long and the pedal pushers like we called in the fifties. A lot of long sleeve blouses in dark colors. I didn’t buy any and now wondering how I can get downtown to my favorite store, J. C. Pennys. Alita would take me but than the housework does get done. I will wear what I have before I buy any of the ones I saw.

BONJOUR MISS SEETON by  Hampton Charles

I am reading mostly MARCH ARCs and not reading as I was. I am Magic Puzzles more. It seems my eyes are bothering me some and I have been seeing the dates wrong. I mixed up a couple of books publication dates but got correct reviews on NetGalley.

Weather has been wried for awhile major snow storm in the Northeast and tornado in New Orleans. Has anyone heard from Diane if she was in it path?

I guess my question was answer in Diane blog. I will miss you Diane. Welcom Emily at Nerd In The Brain @

I also play jigsaw puzzles on my computer. Used to play with real ones, but my back no longer likes staying bent over for so long.

I’m glad Kato is better! One of our cats, Albert, has been sick but is also doing better. He had some nasty open sores around his eyes, but they are healing.
I hope you have a good week and that spring starts to show up soon.

  3. Colline says:

Your pictures of the flowers and blossoms have me looking forward to spring 🙂

  4. Tara says:

Looks warm where you are. As I’m cold right now, I’m living through your pretty pictures!
    Have a great week!

  5. I hate buying clothes. I can never find anything that I like or if I like it the size is wrong. Hope you find something at your favourite shop. It sounds as though it has been cold but I guess spring will come. You must be looking forward to all those lovely flowers. Glad Kato has recovered. Have a good week.

  6. Nice pictures of blossom, got to be just round the corner now

Glad to hear the snow has melted. I would choose shopping over house cleaning any day! Buying something new to wear is always a perk up!

Hi Betty! I need to go shopping today and never seem to find anything when the point is to buy clothes. Of course when I’m just browsing and don’t have the money to spend I see everything I want. Murphy’s Law. Hope you feel better and have a great week!

I’m glad Kato is feeling better! Clothes shopping is such a chore for me. I never find what I want. Those beautiful spring pictures have me wishing for warmer weather and sunshine.

    • Two years ago, I could still find what I want at one store. My problem now is getting there. As the sun isvout and no snow Kato is very unhappy as he is still waiting for his walk. He started before 6AM this morning. He has really worked for it.

  10. Oh! I am so glad that he lampnis working for you! What wonderful news! Hope what’s left of February treats you wonderfully!

  11. Elizabeth says:

I’m jealous of your cool temps! We’re in the 80’s already here in Texas, and it’s a little bit miserable! Your flower pics are gorgeous! Hang in there! Seems we both need to keep the positive thoughts in mind!

  12. lghiggins says:

Nice pictures. My favorites are the tulips and the sunset; both have breathtaking colors. I sympathize on the clothes. My main priority is comfort. I don’t like to shop either, but I have found pants I like at L.L.Bean. They are more expensive than I like, but they wash and wear well and last a long time. Enjoy your warmer weather!

  13. Corina says:

I play Scrabble on my phone and it helps keep my mind sharp. Not really into puzzles but I do know a lot of people that enjoy them.

  14. Joanna Lynn says:

I have one of those Happy Lights (that’s what they call them here. It definitely helps but you’re only supposed to be by one for 30 minutes at a time or it messes with you in other ways (I get agitated). You probably already know this but I wanted to be sure. I hope you get to feeling better with some happier days. Depression sucks. I’ve fought it off and on my entire life.
