Welcome, come inside the sun is out but it is chilly on this Easter weekend. With light jackets, we can sit out on the patio to watch the activity in the parking lot. What will you have today, coffee, tea or hot chocolate? I will see what in the freezer to nibble. Yesterday a SPRING Storm pass through the area. There was a mixture of all kinds of weather. It rain, snow, wind and even sun.

It was also a shopping day. On the drive around Meridian it has been a long time since I saw so much bloom. As we left the complex grounds the Oregon grape and pear showed their colors.

The first bloom we saw was this flowering tree. I have no idea what it is. It looks like a willow but I don’t know if one like this one. It is a beauty and several years old.

Some other sights around the shopping center.

Over the ten years we have been here I have watch the flowering quince bloom. I have wanted a picture and Alia stopped the car so I could get one. ย In the same yard, there was the lilac bush in bloom.

I am still having problems with WordPress. I tried to update my NetGalley badges only to loose ones I had already. I asked for support from NetGalley and my attempt to use the forums for WordPress not help.

I want to wish everyone one a Great Easter with family and friends.

Glad you’re seeing some blooms, even if you’ve seen a bit of weird weather.

The flowering trees are beautiful Louise. I am looking forward to seeing buds here – it should be soon.

    • It has been a weird spring this year. I can see fresh snow on the mountains. Too much water for the rivers. The Boise river has been at flood stage for over a month now. The cliffs are collapsing in areas.

The lilacs remind me of my grandmother…I love the smell of them, but they don’t do very well here. I have to enjoy your vicariously. Thanks for the visit and the coffee, Betty Louise.

Love the flowers. I’ve been noticing the Oregon grape around here, too. I have a flowering quince but I cut it way back a couple of years ago, and it is just now coming back. They are beautiful. Happy Easter.
