In the weird spring trees are blooming around the area right now. It is partly sunny🌞 out and 60° Fahrenheit. A short walk around the area yesterday showed a lot of weather damaged to the trees. The maples are hard hard as the freeze damaged to leaves were apparent. Our small star magnolia tree the blooms were all froze and the leaves show the damage. It will bloom another year.

On a drive around Meridian yesterday, these trees are in bloom.

Too close out and magnolia tree and an early lilac.

Spring is on the way! Your pictures are beautiful. I am a sucker for lilacs. In the South they usually bloomed in April. I am not familiar with the “star magnolia.” Does it have a strong fragrance like the large Southern magnolias?
