Welcome, glad you arrived between showers. Thunderstorms are forecast for most of the day. There is fresh coffee and got chocolate. I found Biglow’s Contance Comment tea yesterday. That is  treat.

Our weather continues to be unusual. A couple of days in the 60° Fahrenheit, than days that is reached in the high 70’s. We had windows open and no covers. Tuesday about noon, it started to rain heavy. Alita and were leaving for the weekly shopping. By the time we arrived at Fred Meyers store, the rain has stopped but it was cloudy and had rain on and of since then.

The store is ready for Mother’s Day.

Yesterday is one I don’t want to spend again. All I want what to talk with my doctor ‘s office to know with my left shoulder pain could wait until I saw the doctor Tuesday or did I need to go to the ER. I ended up in the ER. I wasn’t having a heart attack and every test was negative though that didn’t help the pain. Any way, I am back home. It is certainly better than Medicare rules for the elderly especially high fall risks. Example, I couldn’t sit up, I had lie down. I lost my temper and that only made it worse. I am not handling the factors of aging very well.

A large tree collapsed in the Boise River causing major damage in Garden City that is just next to Boise. I hope to get pictures of the flooding to share.

My apologies if I don’t get your post read and a comment on it. I almost didn’t finished this so I could send it.

    Hope you are feeling better!

  6. I hope you feel better, but better safe than sorry when you feel pain. Your photos are lovely! We had 95 degree temps last week in Sacramento. Over the weekend I went to a retreat in South Lake Tahoe and it snowed 4 inches on Saturday!!

    • I went in because it might have been a heart attack. It wasn’t and I don’t know why I have the pain.

      • I had pain like that a few years ago, and I went to the ER and once I told the intake clerk I was having signs and symptoms of a cardiac arrest (magic words), I was whisked into to room and they started testing. Scary, but it turned out to be a perfect storm of indigestion, stress and chest pain in my muscles from pruning my trees two days earlier. Women’s heart attack do not present the same as men’s. Best to be sure. Take care, Miss BL!

  7. There is problem with my left breast. Couldn’t be sure it was a heart attach. I have an appointment with a doctor this afternoon. I not sure about what was given me in hospital but it cut my overall pain almost completely gone. Yes, the hospitals have gone overboard on heart attacks. I got upset by the person drawing my blood. My veins are not the easiest but are not really difficult. First he has around my arm hiring the nerve. Then he decide he want to use a songram. I was on the table and my bowels started to move while this person was playing around with his machine. I have a very good vein which he could of used. I object and since my heart was okay I wanted to go home. They didn’t want to release me. I won’t be going back to a hospital soon as now I have an idea of some of the Medicare rules for aged. I am consider a high fall risk. Believe I am not going to fall and hurt myself as I know it wil.l an assisted living for several months of you ever get out.
Growing old is not a golden time. Thanks for the comments they help.

I am sorry you had this horrible time with pain and frustration at the hospital. I realize this is a month later so I am certainly hoping the pain is under control now. I wish I could join you for a cup of Constant Comment and hear an update. I’ll keep reading your post to catch up and see how you are doing.

  12. lghiggins says:

I’m glad the pain is better, but you are right that stress does not help with pain and how you feel all round. I hope you find a way to get the WordPress problem solved. I haven’t had a problem with WordPress, but it seems like since we returned to the States we have spent way too much time solving problems with government and businesses that are not of our making. It is very frustrating.
