A humorous cozy mystery with a play on the popular Thin Man series. A light and relaxing read. I was either laughing or smiling as I read the book. We have Nic Martini, a former NY homicide detective married to Nigel Martini, a wealthy playboy. If course we must add their dog Skippy, a Bull Mastiff whose antics will amuse you. Nic and Nigel are in New York for the Broadway opening a college friend of Nic’s has written the play. Along with Harper and her husband, Dan, they attend a post-show celebration. While at the party Dan misbehaves. The next morning, Dan is found dead in his work apartment. Harper becomes the suspect. Nic and Nigel state out to clear her name. I recommend this book and series. Disclosure: I received a free copy from Midnight Ink through NetGalley for an honest review. I would like to thank them for this opportunity to read and review the book. The opinions expressed are my own.
