Welcome, come inside out of the cold. I have several kinds of drinks and treats to share select hours before we get comfortable by the window. The weather continues to be weird the past week. We had a couple of days with the temperature in the 80°Fahrenheit. Then Friday it started raining again just as we left for our weekly shopping. This morning it is near freezing 36°Fahrenheit.

The cooler weather will help the flooding in the Boise River, but the rain will added additional troubles. The Boise receives The water from the central part of Idaho.  The river flows through the downtown area, growing up I remember this area flooded every spring. Than 2 additional dams were built to help control the the flooding. The flood plain was left unoccupied and then turn into a recreation area known as the Greenbelt. In April we had as much rain that we normally get in 3 months. Two of the dams are full and one is 60% full. The is a lot of snow left in the mountains. This winter is the 4th record of moisture since 1904. Pictures by Alita.

Myself the doctors tell me that everything is normal. Now to adjust the medicine to help with my pain. I am aging. It has been awhile since I mention Bob. It also has pain but is doing fine. Kato is doing great, he is getting potassium and bone building medicine.wp-1494442825953.jpg

We are three individuals growing old. I must not forget another member of our family.

Happy Mother’s Day to all Mothers. Here is a my Mother who overcome a lot to raise the six of us by herself. Thanks Mom.

Wow, that’s a big temperature swing! I hope the medication adjustment can bring you some relief. Glad to hear Bob and Kato are doing well.

    • We had a squall past through this afternoon. It cloudy over and the wind increased. The rain missus but It rain nearby. The sun is shining now and the temperature is below normal.

Growing up in Tennessee, we had the expression, “When it rains, it pours.” meaning we didn’t just get a little water, we got a lot. Tennessee is a state that has benefitted from dams in terms of flooding and hydroelectricity. Thanks for sharing pictures of your family. You are a survivor, not a victim and it sounds like your mother tried to be the same in raising her family alone.
