I have read a few of this series and enjoy them. I was disappointed with the book as the format is not one that I like. The recipes are scattered throughout the book told in a story written by Hayley Powell. This writing is below the rest of the book. Liddy’s actions annoy me and I feel she was acting like “a spoil. brat”.
Hayley, Liddy, and Mona are spending the weekend at Salmon Cove, Maine. The weekend was a disaster from the start. The cabin was run down and had outdoor restroom and the hotel was full. Mona meets and old friend. Liddy begins an affair with a stranger who is later found dead. The girls have managed to irk the sheriff. Harley begins to investigate to save them from ending up in jail. She uncovered a secret that brought the FBI into the area. Recipes are scattered throughout the book in a unique way.
