If we were having coffee/tea I would tell you, that the weather has been fairly nice. Not too hot most of the time but today it forecast for 95ยฐ Fahrenheit. I have coffee, tea and cold drinks to share. Select you drink and treat and let’s sit on the patio for the cool breeze. There has been grass fires near the highways, already

If we were having coffee/tea I would tell you this has been a frustrating year so far. It seems I have had a lot of stress recently not of my making. I was thinking every thing was common down but caregivers have been a problem. I think that going without might be the answer. If I am doing the work, I don’t need the stress.

I would tell you we drove to Boise this week. I realized the Boise I remember no longer exists. It has changed a great deal in the ten years since We moved here. At that time there were pockets of my Boise but I doubt that they are still here.

I would tell you that I am running out of pictures that I haven’t already shared. Here are some scenes from the Pacific ocean.

I won’t have many ARCs to review during July. I am now reading those being released in August. I will be filling with some from my TBR list. I am running behind in my reading challenge list so to all the stress I have recently.

I’m sorry the year has been stressful. Hopefully it will get better. The only thing that never changes is how rapidly things change. It always surprises me when I visit my home town. It isn’t that places that were “country” are now “suburb”, but that there are 80 foot tall trees in areas that were corn fields!

  2. Tara says:

Thanks for the photos of the Pacific, I’ve been to the Atlantic (many, many times), but not out that way…. yet. ๐Ÿ™‚
    Happy week!

  3. Your โ€œPacificโ€ pictures are wonderful. Sorry to hear that you have some unnecessary stress. I hope it clears up for you soon.

Well, your hair is holding up regardless of the stress. The photo of the hummingbird is really beautiful. Birds can be difficult to capture. It’s probably because I always took my kid. lol Hope things get better. I’m sure they will.

  5. DailyMusings says:

wonderful Pacific photos Betty Louis. We took a trip to California 25 years ago- I remember its beauty there. Hope the rest of the year improves!

A nice tea share and beautiful pictures. I love the hummingbird. I hope the coming week cools off for you and you can look forward to a stress-free week ahead. I don’t know what to say about the caregiver situation. That is a tough one. Is your caregiver the person that drives you to the store, doctor and other places you need to go to?

  7. Pamela Morse says:

The humming bird capture is stunning, and it is nice to see a good shot of you smiling along with the birds this time. I can’t believe all the reading you manage to fit in. Cheers! Thanks for coffee

    • Since my health limits what I can do and I often have trouble sleeping. I am able to read a book a day. Losing Kato ha raise the stress level where I have difficulty in handling the attitude many have of the elderly. We don’t all have dementia, etc.

  8. Your photos look great, lots of variety! Hope you have a safe, fun July 4th! Don’t light those fireworks in the house, now, BL (wink!) ๐Ÿ˜‰

  9. Those ocean photos are fantastic. Why don’t you start sharing your photos from the beginning again. Many of us have joined coffee share late and may have missed some of your photos and our memories aren’t as good as they once were. Your photos are so lovely that I for one would be happy to look at them all again. Now that half the year has gone I hope the second half is less stressful for you than the first. I too find that places change greatly and not always in a way I like. I hope you have a good week.

  10. Marianne says:

I’m sorry to hear about the stress this year, Louise…I, too, have had my share. But, you’re correct to say that stress has a way of disappearing – sooner or later. I hope things will smooth out soon. Nice photos. Thank you for sharing.

I mean Betty Lousie! LOL…the “Lousie” stuck out for me.
