I am surprised the publisher is releasing three of her books on the same day. Is that unusual?

    • The authors already have a large pool of readers. In the 70s through the 90s Phyllis Whitney, Victoria Holt, Mary Stewart and Dorothy Eden followed by Barbara Michaels and Helen McInnes were the leading authors. I read them all. You could add Rex Stout and Ellery Queen to them.
