I am delighted to read the 10th book of this series in order to find out what was happening with Jolie and Scoobie. A simple New Year’s Eve wedding is planned. The day before while eating at the cafe, Jolie sees a stranger in town who was familiar. Later Scoobie is informed that his father is unconscious at the hospital. The wedding is disrupted by the police bringing a ten-year child to it. The boy tells Scoobie that he is delighted to finally meet his brother. Julie decides to help Scoobie decided if he wants more information on why his Father left him behind. The reason will break your heart. This book is better if you have read the some of the previous books as all the characters are present as it is character driven. Some of the back stories are included and the story is completed. I am looking forward to reading the next book. I highly recommended the book and the series.
