It is an overcast day but probably due to the fires are burning. I haven’t checked the weather. I think there is coffee and tea round. We are meeting in my Rehab room. This an experience for me. With all my surgeries you, would think I would have an Rehab before but I always been released to home care ❤

It is great morning to be alive as pain level is still low. Last morning I spent the morning watching the eclipse. Didn’t many picture. I don’t know if Bob off the camera yet. I didn’t notice a drop in temperature, but did see COLLARED doves continent a tree, WHERE I suspect they have a nest. The sparrows were quiet. There was a fly pestering us. Where I noticed most when I enter the apparent was also dark. I did take some pictures I don’t feel you tell difference. At 11:35 A. M. the light came back. Here are a few pictures.

We decided to out for lunch. Coming out of the restaurant, I had started to sept off the curb when by right ankle grab out and I felt myself falling. I lend full force on the sidewalk. Result is a broken right leg. It has been a painful and stressful time.

For 📚📚 📖📖📚📚 in writing they are on Goodreads. I hope to get them on blogs sometime in the next month. It has been too painful to read much. I have several to write yet. Mostly on books I selected to read.📚📚📚📖📖📚📚💞👏🌈

Oh my gosh, Betty! And right after your hip. Sounds like you have it under control though. Keep us updated as you have time and feel like it.

  2. DailyMusings says:

I am glad to see you here Betty- I have been thinking about you. It is your leg or hip that is broken? Either way I hope you recover soon and get home. Thanks for sharing the eclipse photos!

  3. bmary8222 says:

Hope you continue to feel better. Did you break both your hip and your leg?

  4. Dear Betty, how wonderful to see you you blogging, sharing your pictures of this incredibly beautiful eclipse, despite having a broken leg.
I wish you a speedy and painless recovery.

  5. lghiggins says:

Leg sounds better than hip, but I am not a doctor.🙃 Either one would be very painful.😟 I am sorry you have to go through the rehab, but it should help you get mobile more quickly and safely. Enjoy reading when the pain allows. 📚I know you will want to post when you can. You are such a devoted blogger. I’m praying for a speedy recovery and diminishing of pain.🙏🏻

  6. I can’t imagine what you must be going through, BL! Although the break in my hand has all but healed, I have other maladies that crept in as a result of lack of exercise. Get well soon and be careful!!

  7. Betty what a way to end a lovely meal. I hope the pain eases soon and that they have you up and walking around so you can go home as soon as possible. I heard the eclipse was a bit of a fizzer from a few people but the excitement and unity across the nation was well worth it. Hope this week is a better one with lots of healing vibes.
