GOOD AFTERNOON FRIENDS- OCTOBER 7, 2017

THINK POSITIVE HUGS!

Welcome, it is a cool sunny morning. We have some storms recently but the last few days have been cool in the morning and warm in the afternoon. There is a selection of coffee, ten or cider and cookies and cupcakes. Let us go set on the patio so we can see what is occurring in parking lot.

I am out of the rehab for a while now. I have caregivers and home health It seems there is a new stress factor every day. An example: Someone planted the entrance to Tramore. I wanted to take pictures of it before it was damaged by the weather. You would have thought I was trying to hurt myself by the reactions as I was going outside without  a coat. We were out longer than I needed to be if that had let get the pictures. One of my caregivers has been answering yes when I tell her something. Than she did what she wants. I realized it this morning when I went to get my breakfast. I will need caregivers probably the rest of my life. There are some things I can no longer do. I learn a a lot about occupation and physical therapy. I will be having both two times a week. My hip and leg has heal but I still have my UTI and BM problems.

Thinking of you, Betty Lou. I think your spirit is pretty indomitable! And I am glad you are surrounded by flowers…I hope the infection clears and you are more independent again soon!

Hang in there, you have a lot of people pulling for you and praying for you.

  5. Hi there! Just had to say, I’m thinking of you- sending positive vibes your way! x

  6. lghiggins says:

Beautiful pictures! I am glad your hip and leg have healed. That is amazing. I see a walker in the picture. Do you still need that while you go through the PT process to regain your strength. I am sorry for your other problems. UTI’s can be really hard to get rid of and neither problem is fun when you are not as mobile as you need to be. Praying for healing for you and that your caregivers will be sensitive to your needs, not theirs.

    • I need to take a picture of my walker. It is different and yes, I need to use it. That a future blog. I am going to try and see if from the caregivers point of view. I sure hate to be told one thing and they still do what they liked.

      • lghiggins says:

It reminds me of Mexico. It is a cultural thing here. People tell you what they think you want to hear even if they have no intention of following through. It is important to them that you be happy at that moment.โ˜บ๏ธ

      • I keep telling myself, I need to learn to !I’ve with it. But I am finding it hard to do when I find my tea lot washed out in inside. Aluminium foil being toss. Bread I said I didn’t want to eat being serve me.

  7. lghiggins says:

I know I am more particular about things like that than I used to be. You have to wonder–is it really any harder for them to do it your way than theirs. I guess this is your opportunity to practice patience.๐Ÿ˜ฑ

  8. I admire you for sticking to the therapy, BL. Glad to hear you are improving and hope you have some nice weather to keep you cheery!
