When I was gardening, I tried growing lilies from seed. I had a number of lilies but never stay long enough to really get to know one of the flowers I like. The first photo is a lily I grew from seed.

The white form of this flower is known as the Easter Lily. Did you know it comes in other colors?

The most popular form is the Asiatic. Here are few samples.

  1. Beautiful aren’t they.

  2. Lovely. Congrats on being able to grow one from seed. I’ve now tried to grow and killed my second son’s sunflower project and my first son’s red bean project. Mummy is no longer asked to help with gardening activities.

I have a green thumb in the Midwest! Out here in the Southwest… forget about it! Although I have found Vinca and Lantana like me along with Lavender.

    • I know what you mean about growing plant in the southwest. When we live in Yuma, the soil was not down a foot. I met a lady who know how grow plants. She has a lot of flowers in her yard. She used more species than our hybrids. We didn’t long enough for me to try her method.

You are looking good with your fancy walker. Is it the kind that can also be a seat?
    Your lily photos are beautiful!
I know what you mean about not sticking around long enough to see the results of your efforts. We would plant fruit trees only to see them start bearing about the time we had to move again. I always hoped that whoever bought our house would get to enjoy some good fruits.

    • Yes you can seat on it. Not is different from the walker I am using now!. Medicare will only pay a fraction of the cost the fancy walker. The walker they will buy is actually better health for hou. My brother put in fruit a few years, they are now old enough to bear fruit, only weather or diseases get the fruit. Unless you are willing to spend money and work at it, the yield is not very good. A good crop will for on the ground as no one will pick the fruit. They will take if you hand them it already
pick. That is the reason why I never fool with it for two people. Thanks for the comment.
