I normally don’t read books with a Christmas theme, however, this is one of the series, I like. It was true to form. Wagtail village was decked out in Christmas decorations and Santa’s elves were getting all their Christmas wishes. The Thackleberry are gathering to celebrate Christmas at the Sugar Maple Inn. The family is honoring Norma Jean and her fiance, Holmes before the spring wedding. Trixi found Dale Thackleberry dead in the collapse of caricature ofGrinch. He has been stabbed several times. Aunt Birdie has been having an affair with the victim and becomes a person of interest. There are a few mishaps to affect the mood of the season. Later Trixie found the body of Vivienne, Dale’s wife. Will Holmes break his engagement with Norma Jean? Who killed Dale and Vivienne? Recipes for deserts and let’s are included. I recommend this book and series.
