I have been looking at this series for awhile. I didn’t want to start it the latter part of the series. I finally the first one and I will be reading more of the books. Phryne Fisher is bored with society and agreed and decided to return to Melbourne, Australia to meet the daughter of a friend. Shortly after arriving in Melbourne she meets Cec, Bert, and Dot. Phryne will encounter an abortionist, a health healer, and a cocaine dealer. Phryne is looking for answers will she be successful in bringing the evildoers to justice?

    I’m glad you enjoyed it. As you know I am a fan of the series. I just finished one last night and it met the high standards I have for this series.
