We have been retired since 1995. Turning that time we spent doing at lot of recreation doing activities that we enjoyed. We grave in a Moterhome for 15 years. We now live in a senior retirement home. One of the activities we enjoyed was looking for plants in their native habitat. These photos were taken at the time most showing me looking at a penstemon. There are some taken at the American Penstemon Society meeting one group in the Northwest, another in a Califormia meeting. There is one taken at Bruce Myers garden in Washington state.
BETTY AND PENSTEMON PLANTS!
Penstemon sorry the name slips rights. There acres of it in the Wenatchee mountains of Washington state. I know the name but couldn’t find it.

How wonderful that you were able to follow your passion for nature after you retired.

I have always had plants or was looking for ones I hadn’t seen before.
