Book # 1

MY REVIEW: First portions of the story were well written. Sections held my attention. Rags, the klepto cat, was funny and a good character. I was disappointed as I was expecting a mystery. It is good description of animal rescue, both pluses & minuses that occur. The heartbreak of losing a pet. Story is of two Romances and was written well. I will probably read more of this series as it is a good start for this subject.

Book # 3

  • Publisher: Matilija Press (January 24, 2014)
  • Publication Date: January 24, 2014

MY REVIEW: Rags, the Klepto cat is back for another adventure. I enjoy this series. This adventure had the cats and dogs interacting with each other and their humans. Michael losses a dog for unknown reasons. The owner goes berserk and attacks Michael and Savannah at the clinic. Charges are press against him; but he is released. Unexplained happenings start occurring and Rags alerts the Iveys about them. The client’s body is found at the clinic. Michael is accused of the murder. The ending does not seem to be part of the story. The author does a excellent job of connecting the 2 events together.

Book #28

  • Publisher: Matilija Press (March 19, 2018)

The 28th installment of the Klepto cat series, the story is entirely about the jewelry that Rags found in the last book. Detective Craig Sledge convinced Savannah to go on a trip with him to look the jewelry. The journey was an adventure and was productive. New characters were introduced. What did Rags find? Savannah and Rags take another trip to southern California. Why? Rags was again using his scent to help Savannah. What happened to the jewelry?  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book and series for a relaxing read. I am looking g forward the next book.
